How to prepare your Binance Wallet for this campaign?
- Create a Binance Wallet
Please refer to How to create your Binance Web3 Wallet. You may skip this step if you already have a backed-up Binance Wallet.
- Make sure that you have at least 4 $POL in your wallet on the Polygon network.
If you have never added any funds to your Binance Wallet, please refer to this “How to receive tokens on the Binance Wallet” article for instructions.
How to find the Mystery Box codes?
This is where you start interacting with the EARN’M dApp. Here’s how:
- Click on the tab “Discover” in the Binance Wallet
- Enter the address “https://binancew3w.earnm.com/” into the search bar and select it
- Confirm the redirection notice
This will lead you to the EARN’M code generation page where you will see the different steps of what to do spelled out to you. Scroll down past those steps to see the “Connect Wallet” button.
- Connect your Binance Wallet with the EARN’M code generator
This will load the codes on the EARN’M dApp page. You will see 10 different codes - each with a surprise amount of Mystery Boxes inside. The maximum amount of boxes per code will be 100.
You can copy the codes by simply clicking on them (no need to press and hold)
Insider Tip: Take a minute to just copy all the codes at this point of time and paste them into a separate doc or note taker app. This way you’ll save yourself a lot of time later on when you want to continue revealing more codes.
How to reveal the Mystery Box codes?
- First and foremost, make sure that you have at least 3.5-4 $POL on your Binance wallet as that’s what you’ll need to reveal any Mystery Box code. If that’s taken care of, you’re good to continue.
- Click on the link saying “EARN’M dApp” in Step 3 - this will open up the actual EARN’M dApp
- Click on the “Connect your Wallet” and click on the “Binance Wallet”
This will pop up a confirmation modal on your Binance Wallet, giving you the choice to choose which wallet to connect in case you have several accounts connected with it.
Make sure to verify that the account is marked as under the “Polygon” network. Polygon is the network on which the EARN’M dApp functions. So if it is not connected with Polygon, the next transaction will ask you the native currency of the network you’re wrongly connected with (e.g. ETH) and will not work.
If this happens to you, best just close the Binance app, clear the cache and try again.
If that still doesn’t do the trick - clear the storage, restore your wallet and try again.
But it really shouldn’t come to this :)
You’re good to go as soon as you see the Polygon network mentioned in this confirmation screen.
- Scroll through the intro of the EARN’M dApp and finally click on “Reveal Box” on the screen that says “No Boxes Yet”
- Enter one of your copied codes and hit “Reveal Box”
This starts the verification of your Mystery Box Code. It will take about 1.5 minutes, so just wait and don’t close the app.
At this point the code gets associated with a wallet - yours, if you’re the first (and only) one that has seen and used this code. Never share the code with anyone if you want to reveal it yourself.
In case you don’t have enough funds, you won’t be able to get past this point and will need to first load up on $POL.
In case you get an “Unexpected Error” it could be due to a time-out. In this case just try the exact same code again and most the time that will handle it.
- Confirm the transaction and accept the transaction fees.
It should automatically show the transaction fee in Polygon - however, if there was any issue on the network connection and you’re asked to pay in another currency, cancel the transaction, close the Binance Wallet, clear the cache and start again.
Revealing should take about 10 minutes on average but can also take longer. You don’t have to stay on the screen for this time but can continue interacting with Binance by just switching the tabs. You can come back to the EARN’M dApp simply by clicking on the “Discover” tab again.
- As soon as the results are ready, you’ll see a modal telling you about it. Click “Find Out Results” to check what you revealed.
From there you are free to explore the dApp to your liking.
The little tool tips explain to you how to read the results and interact with the rest of the app as well.
- After this you can either continue revealing more codes by clicking the back arrow, or you can discover more of the dApp by clicking on “View My Boxes”
“View My Boxes” will lead you to the Mystery Box asset overview where you can see all the details of your Mystery Boxes, for example their vesting time and projected value.
Clicking on the back button brings you into the EARN’M dashboard. In case you see it show “No Boxes Yet”, just hit the three dots at the top and click “Refresh” - that will update your balance and show you your currently available assets.
How to reveal more codes?
There are three places you can enter the area to reveal more codes:
- The dashboard, clicking on “Reveal New Boxes”
- The Mystery Box asset overview, clicking on “Reveal New Boxes”
- Clicking on the side menu and click on “Reveal Codes”
How can you get more codes?
If you want to go back to the code generator page because you didn’t copy all the codes, do the following:
- click the “X” at the top left,
- click on “Search for dApps or enter URL”
From there click on the EARN’M campaign which should appear as one of your recent interactions. That will get you back to the code generation page to copy more codes.
